White PC build for streaming

Hi everyone!

I’m brand new to PC building, currently gaming on PS5 and looking to get a PC mainly for streaming, gaming, and video editing (including personal vlogs). I really want good quality but don’t want the hassle of building the PC myself, so I’ve been working with PCS to configure a system.

Here’s what I’ve put together so far, and it comes to about £2,085. My budget is ideally £2,000 or less, but I still need to buy a capture card, camera, and some other accessories on top of that.
I’m not sure if this is a fair price or if some components could be swapped out for cheaper options without a big hit to performance or quality (Also looking for an 'all white PC' but happy to trade parts for better price and performance).

I’d really appreciate any advice on parts I could downgrade or alternative builds. Especially if it’s easier to get those parts through PCS, but I’m open to other UK-based suppliers too.

Thanks in advance for your help!

This is not the colour theme you wanted, but just an example of an alternative build.

It would not give you better gaming performance, but the 265K's multithreaded performance is much higher than the 7700X.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,875.91 (includes delivery: £11.98)

Is always hard to say with prebuilds because they have their own prices for stuff.

In theory, you could choose a cheaper cooler (7700X doesn't need much, a basic tower cooler would do) and a cheaper motherboard, but obviously that will impact aesthetics.

You're going to spend a hefty premium going white, but if it's a display/streaming thing for aesthetics I guess that's not something that can be helped.

You could contact OCUK and they would build this for you, there would be a fee but it should fit into your remaining budget. Given you're going to use a capture card I suspect you'll have less need for certain things such as higher core counts or certain Nv specific features.

The 9070XT performs very similarly to the 5070ti, NV does have the benefit of better RT/PT and DLSS but they're frankly not worth the premium of almost £200 for a white 5070ti.

You don't need W11 bundled in, it again adds a premium for a licence. It's a 30-60 minute job to setup and install yourself and could save you a good £100, keys can be found for dirt cheap online.

You get a notably better gaming CPU with this, as well as PSU. The modern iterations of Corsair's RMe line have a number of known issues, they switched OEM over the older models and quality declined for the range as a result.
