A friend of mine is reporting some strange activity from her computer; apparently it keeps 'shutting down' after displaying a white screen with two black lines running down the middle of it.
Anything obvious spring to mind
From what I can make out, 'shutting down' just means the display/gfx. She says that some sometime she's left it and it's come back around on its own...
My monies on the monitor or graphics card, both of which are over 5 years old iirc.
