Excuse the name, but was named by fellow S340 owners

i5 Devil's Canyon @ Stock
Phanteks 12DX
8GB HyperX Beast DDR3
MSI x97 Krait
EVGA GS 550W
SanDisk Ultra ii 480GB SSD
Asus Turbo GTX 960 4GB

Nzxt kindly suck it up on there website and I'm encouraging other S340 to drop them a link with a pic of your build :)

Been trying to hound Asus for a Strix backplate to a, finish off the look- as I think it would look great in white and continuing the 2 red stripes around.
Secondly its not a cool card as I've seen from reviews. I opened up the card to find the heat sink didn't actually sit on 2 of the ram chips, and the 3rd is covered by a ramp which forces the air follow on the same level as the sink to prevent any dust getting on the board. The other chips on the top side are left in the open. I tried using an EK mini GTX 970 back plate the the Board is wider then the 970.

Hoping to do this again if Nzxt would drop me a case and the Turbo is begging to be hybrid cooled, keeping that shroud and a back plate.

Not to bad for a cheap build at £550. Hoping my 10 year old nephew enjoys Minecraft on it and my 17 year old niece with her anime/manga work :D

Looks awesome.

I'm doing a white and black theme and it's quite depressing that I've spent that on just watercooling it :(

Got them instagram filters on there too ;)

Since this build isnt for me, its the first time i've done an air rig and its winning me over, specially for cost ! although i'll never give up my Thermochill 120.4 rad :D

Shots taken using my phone and stuck some filters one =/ did have some DSLR shot but needing to get a Macro lens :(

Where can I buy those black things that keep your psu wires together? Was thinking about using cable ties but they look much better.

overclockers.co.uk have them. under cable combs in mod section/ braided cables

few other places do them to such as kustompc etc

wishing i went for custom made or self done braiding. you can get combs like beer ringpacks that look and hold so much better

Your build looks stunning, it's probably in my top 10 best monochrome builds I've seen. The builds inside the NZXT S340 always do look clean but this takes it to another level as even the cables just folow clean and precisely. :)

Great work :D

Thank you very much. Few things i would have changed if there was a bit more cash. Hybrid cool the GTX and had the cables custom made to reflect a red strip and the black/white theme. Then maybe would have asked for another window panel for the back to show off cable management hahaha
I would have loved to have gotten another ram set and sprayed white to complete it all, but 8GB should be fine for the teenage users.

I'll be honest with the cooler, I havent been able to bench as i dont have my nephews hard drive. but it'll be great to teach him the ways of stress testing and overclocking. all got to learn so should do him well :D
But looking at reviews it stacks up very well compared to the 14PE version. I was looking at the TC14S version but wasnt sure if it'll fit into the case.

Excellent job;) Got to be one of the better builds I've seen on here that hasn't had lots of money spent on it. You should be proud of it. I just wish it was mine.:D

Thanks, luckily my old man funded it for my sis's kids but wanted to keep it cheap and not take the #### with cash. I would have loved to put a bit cash in such as custom cables instead of building Silverstone extensions but just started a new family of my own so , no sli :( haha
Think I priced it up on part picker and came up at just over £750 or £800 from company
Happy that its all off the self and cheap, but hopefully I can recreate it say for myself with a bit more cash, maybe a 970 hydrid style . time will tell .
And again thanks for all the comments ! :)
I will say to get it cheap , I used flubit... Be warned with flubit ! Scores a Gigabyte Wind force triple cooler 2Gb 960 for £120.... Now then and the trader to trading b standards haha

Was able last night to change this build and my own (upgrade from win7) from having Windows 10 installed via IDE mode to AHCI mode simply by changing to boot into Safe Mode, restarting and getting into Bios before boot. Then changing from IDE to AHCI and then exiting and letting windows boot into safe mode. From there, selecting the option to Boot into normal mode and restarting the system. All is working fine. Not sure if anyones posted this up in the forum but comes in quite handy.

Will be trying IDE to NVME via my fathers Acer Nitro Skylake laptop. Current has the stock 1TB HDD set up as IDE as default. Should be getting as Samsung 950 in January. :)
