A pain to keep clean, but quite rewarding after a quick clean and polish.

Stunning mate, keep the wheels it makes the car look so much better

Are those stickers on the side the correct ones? Look like eBay specials :p

Neil.

The stickers were close to £100 for all 3, from Honda. pic of us applying them here: http://www.krikey.nildram.co.uk/ek9/100_2131.jpg

How does it compare to the EP3? The EP3 is an awesome car, I just got fed up of seeing 3 every mile, I wanted something unique.

Both the EP3 and EK9 will get to 60 in about 6.5 seconds, neither as quick as the Teg. Honda did actually quote a 0-60 time of 5.7 for the EK9 but I think they were being a bit optimistic. http://www.isitaboat.co.uk/cars/honda_civic_type_r__ek9_/

See BHP specs, then compare to my RR run, it's about right due to only using V-Power, they'd run on 100+ ron over in Japan http://www.krikey.nildram.co.uk/ek9/26.pdf

The Integra belongs to my brother.

that civic looks very well looked after and it also looks like he/s a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to cleaning the thing too.

cars like these are a credit to their owners.

EDIT, as i know jack about these cars can you tell me what year this one is?

It is, I am, and thanks, I do try:) Had a go at the underside of the bonnet the other day too, considering polishing it:o

I also want to take each wheel off and clean them thoroughly, from the inside.

It's a W plate (2000).

14 months on, still loving it:) The car is looking pretty much stock now, which is what I wanted originally. Big Integra wheels gone, stock ones on. Big exhaust gone, Mugen Twinloop on. I think the only other mod (other than rear bumper respray and dent removed) is the exhaust manifold, which is now a 4-2-1 with de-cat.

Just had 4 x Bridgestone Potenza RE010 fitted, too.

Well there's loads in the UK now, you'd just buy one like a normal car on pistonheads etc, unless you want to import your own. I bought mine from a guy I knew from an owners forum. You get no service history so it's a bit of a gamble, less of a gamble for me with knowing the previous owner was a good guy.

Common as muck:D

It was £7800 in April 07, and they're still worth that it seems.

Mine's a Type-Rx which are only available in facelift form, has a few extras like metal pedals and a carbon fibre look centre console. It has front fogs too (not part of the Rx spec).

i would never buy an import like that, i bet when they converted the speedo to mph they shaved off some miles

Yeah I'd always choose one with miles added onto original km's.

Err why? Looks like any other civic to me (apart from the type-r badges)

It's quite different to a standard Civic buddy, try a little research on the EK9 chassis.
