If any of you have hosting accounts with a provider that uses the WHMCS billing system you need to be aware that WHMCS was the victim of a social engineering attack.

The hacker gained access to the WHMCS DB.

This only concerns WHMCS so unless your a client ie own a WHMCS license it doesn't affect you.

It could.

If your host submitted login details in a support ticket to WHMCS then it is possible for the hacker to access your hosts WHMCS installation and thus see all the client details.
