who agrees with this? Best CPU for games, workstation etc

A really expensive quad core (currently) for best budget? How is that different from e.g. recommending a 9350KF?

Most fun to overclock: I thought overclocking was about taking something slow and making it way faster, the 10900K seems a bizarre choice, can't see the value-added in that?
 
I think for the high end workstations the winner is the 3970x rather than the 3990x. Aside from huge memory hungry render tasks can't see why it would be recommended over the 3970x. Intel options don't really come into contention for a number of reasons.

As for the rest, i'll leave it for others to chime in...
