Hey just wondering how many people can have Lucid Dreams. This is when you realize you are awake and then can control your dreams to how you desire. I can do this but am fairly limited. I can realize 50% of the time i am dreaming and can control a dream for around 20minutes or so until i feel it slipping away from me. Or i try to do things like fly but wake my self up by kicking in my sleep. I have recently been on sites and reading instructions on how to master it and have complete control of my dreams.

Does anyone here have Lucid Dreams

If yes have you mastered it?

Anyone feel like they cold post some of there dreams :p

Yes, but unfortunately rarely, and ive not had one for ages. Their great when I do have them though. Infact that remind me.. my dream last night was well weird. It was a bit like planet of the apes(The origional), expect I was a COE priest, and there was another priest amongst the enemy apes. :/

A couple of times I've got the point of realising I'm dreaming. I've woken up straight away on each occasion though. It's really disappointing.

There are a couple of members who claim to have managed it.

If you do manage to go lucid, one thing thats great to try is jumping. I managed to jump over buildings before, and even felt the effects of gravity and speed. :)

I've managed it a couple of times but I wouldn't say I have much control at all. Usually when I realise i'm dreaming its because of a situation where I should be in pain / dead, like being shot and then not dying, or swimming under water and then realising I don't need to hold my breath, although this normally results in me waking up pretty sharpish...

I had a dream, once, where I knew I was in a dream and, no joke, I marveled at the quality and the detail. :o :D

Me to. Although the places my mind make up are obviously just my home town with a Modified Dream Patch. I have noticed that i know things that i didn't think i knew ( if that makes sense) Like someone in this case was my dad in the dream he told me the size of the highest mountain and i woke up remembered and googled and it was exactly right. The same has happened with very high multiplications.

I've definitely been in this situation before, thinking to myself 'this dream is pretty weird' and seeming to know what is going to happen next.

There are also the occasions where I know I'm dreaming, and similarly to paradox I wake up, I know what I've been dreaming about so I try get to sleep and keep those thoughts in my head but sadly it doesn't work usually. :(

Ive read some good techniques are : Through out the day ask your self " Am i dreaming" and then look around and say why you are not and after a while this will become a habit and you will do it in your dream and then realize you are infact dreaming.

An alternative is always look at a watch ( has to be digital ) through out the day until it becomes habit and then look back at the watch a few seconds later so it becomes a habit as in dreams digital clocks tend to be messed up. for example 43:23 and when you look back in your dream it will say 99:56 then you realize you are dreaming.

When trying to fly or swim in your lucid dream don't try to move your legs or arms as you would in real life as this can often result in moving in your bed and wake your self up but instead imagine theres a blue dot on your head and move using that.

Also try not to get to excited when you think HOLY MOLEY im dreaming and can do what i want as this tends to wake you up also.

Happened a few times before, but never lasts long. Usually when im trying to do something i want to do in the dream it all ends. Kinda annoying really.

Out of interest has anyone had a dream, woken up during the night and then gone back to sleep and continued the dream? I had that before, can't remember what it was about but it did continue from my break in sleep.

Hey yes i have the best time to do this is to set your alarm an hour or so before you need to wake up and when you go back to sleep you can normally carry on where you left off or begin t have a lucid dream because your mind is already in a dream state and you know you are dreaming.

Ditto!

However last night, I managed to have fun with a hot blonde I used to go school with :o

I once got really confused when younger as I could control ALL my dreams. To date I've only had a few that haven't been Lucid, usually they are nightmares tbh.
