who delivers washing machines to 3rd floor flats?

top floor, no lift

looked at AO.com, Currys, Argos and John Lewis but can't find anything concrete saying they'll deliver...just 'we will assess on the day due to H+S etc' type statements.

is there anywhere I can order and be guaranteed delivery?

or some better (more likely to get on with it) than others?
 
hmmm...I did that when I moved in. Turned in to a pantomime! :p so was hoping there would be somewhere that would just charge a rate and deliver to flats regardless, also get the old one taken away too.

But yeah looks like it's not that easy so maybe just get it delivered to my parents and take it to mine and get a mate to lend a hand at the weekend
 
the issue with me was the opposite.....my pal that came to help used to deliver for MFI...thought it would be a breeze....but he had kinda lost his touch

as soon as we got up to the flat he flung the windows open then was hanging out the window catching his breath...thought I was going to have to phone an Ambulance :p
 
when I first read that jimjam i thought you meant they started taking your front door off! :D

John Lewis or AO sound promising....was expecting a 'deliver to flats' option tbh but if they call before and know about it, it should be fine. If I need to do it it's not a big hassle...just easier to get it delivered

also never thought about the option of refusing if they can't get it up the stairs, just didn't want it dumped on the ground floor!
