I've noticed quite a lot of people on this forum mention they don't have a TV.
Having a TV is an accepted norm, and a lot of people look at me as if I'm insane when I tell them I don't have a TV, but it seems to me more and more people are giving up the box these days.

Maybe it's got something to do with the popularity of the internet, the TV is no longer the quickest and easiest way to occupy your time or keep abreast of current events, and as a result is seeing a reduction in it's usage.

So tell us do you.
A) Have a TV and love it
B) Have a TV and rue the amount of time it steals from you.
C) Not have a TV at all
D) Have a TV but don't use it

If C, why? :)

Nope, no TV, we sold our TV with the intention of getting another one but it never happened and realised we didn't miss it.

I have a TV but dont really watch it v much here at uni, theres not v many good programs, and most of what i watch i do so via On demand, if its not on-demand it gets downloaded.
At home my parents have full cable subscriptions, in both rooms with the decent size tvs in, which are comfier than this uni flat.. so i watch it more there.. most its just football and whatevers on when im sat with the gf(as i see her when im in my hometown).

To be honest though, since they got another big tv i generally plug my laptop into the one in the 'other' room.. You will find a lot of people start using their TVs for PC displays too nowadays.

I have one in my room but watch it 30mins a week if that, I Could easily Live without a TV, only because i watch everything on my comp :)

I have a TV but it is used in this way > 360 Elite, PC for watching Hi Def movies, Sky when either football is on or say Ashes to Ashes or Road Wars/Match of the day.

There is nothing decent on TV/SKY these days maybe 2 or 3 tv shows a week I might watch.

Someone has to give the smart arsed answer. For me the answer is C) I do not have a television.

I do have 2 projectors, 3 plasma panels, and a Sky HD system fed throughout the house though. And i watch broadcasted programmes a hell of a lot.

There are 4 TV's in my house of varying size. I never watch or turn them on. If I lived on my own I wouldn't even need one. I have a 32inch sat 5 feet away in my computer room and I never turn it on. I even play the xbox through my 24 inch dell monitor.

If I didnt have a wife I wouldn't have need for one.

D) Never really use it.

It occasionally gets switched on to watch a DVD if I have company around but apart from that, it just sits there doing nothing.

I don't have a "TV", I have a TV card in my PC so that I can watch TopGear when its on. Other than that I don't bother with TV at all.

PC Monitor thats it, i use my parents one downstairs if i want to watch TV but we dont have sky so not much watching unless its a Documentary that interests me.
