Im up and running with Windows 7 Home Premium 7600 x64 RTM.

You get 30 days grace period to activate so thought "Why not" - On release day, type in my product key and away I go :)

I have to say, the RTM seems much nippier than the last BETA build I was using? Much optimisation between 7100 BETA and 7600?

You'll miss all the fun of official install day! :)

I'm still on vista HP 32bit, so hopefully when it all arrives moving to Win7 64bit should be reasonably exciting!

The 30-day grace period of Vista (another clean install) was coming up, so I knocked it back with the rearm code.

Rather embarrisingly, I want to save the experience for when I get the retail media in my hands :D. Going to have 5 machines to do mind, but I enjoy it so meh :).

I was doing this, until I received a promotional copy of Ultimate. I formatted my Professional install, and installed Ultimate, on Friday. My copy of Professional had been rearmed twice, to extend its use without activation, so I could type in the product key on the day I receive my copy, to activate it :)

I'm loving Windows 7, by far the best OS I've used. Networking has been so simple my dad could even set-up and use it! Very impressive and well worth the cost of upgrading to :).

Me!

And have been for around the last 3 months :P

Installed Windows 7 Pro today, we get it at work through the Microsoft partner program,
& always get a few licenses left over.

Have to say I'm impressed with it so far, quicker than Vista IMO.

Did this earlier, waiting on my pre-ordered pro turning up, very impressed by Windows 7 so far. Lots of little things which are making my life a lot easier than with XP/Vista :) Even giving MS security essentials a whirl.

I did this, and have typed in the serial I got for hosting a windows house party. Didn't feel the same as installing it from scratch with the new media though, felt weird not even taking the DVD out of the wallet...

iv got my windows 7 activated already freind works for microsoft runs liker a dream hgope i dont lose anything on release date

Have had windows 7 RTM Pro installed and activated on my desktop and laptop since the RTM's been available. Thanks to msdnaa :)

Getting a new 1TB HDD to go along with WIN7 for release day. Will hopefully install them at the same time. Plus still only running the RC at the moment.

Can I install my MSDNAA copy on my girlfriends machine - not activate it and wait for her serial to arrive?

Is the MSDNAA copy the same as the retail copy?

Cheers,
