So all he's been found guilty of officially is probably just banter, which some women found upsetting. Without knowing exactly what was said and the context, I reserve judgement. I don't trust these kind of investigations.

"Just banter". There were witnesses and evidence, hence why the report upheld 45 claims, and at least one of those claims was unwanted physical contact.

On what basis do you not trust an inquiry by an independent legal firm?

Former MasterChef presenter Gregg Wallace is seeking up to £10,000 in damages from the BBC, claiming the broadcaster caused him "distress and harassment" by failing to comply with his request for copies of his personal data, according to court documents.

Wallace is taking legal action against the BBC and BBC Studios after being sacked from the cooking show in July.

His dismissal followed a report that upheld more than 40 allegations about his conduct on MasterChef, including one of unwelcome physical contact and three of being in a state of undress.

I don't think anyone is doubting his right to try and pursue legal routes but I'm certainly judging him for being such a whiny little loser. Just because someone can do something doesn't mean they should.

I'm going to hazard a guess he either didn't actually send it to the right people, or he wanted information from his file that might have been protected and the BBC had a legal right and possibly obligation to withhold to protect others.

Yup claims they wrongfully redacted information, and information from 21 years ago that may or may not require people to actively read through and possibly get consent/legal advice about releasing. Also depending on exactly what he's asked for it might mean searching through original records not just what was actually saved to a HR style DB entry, so possibly paper records and archive tapes from 20 years back.
