Been thinking of getting one now that I have an Android phone, although £10/month seems a bit excessive for internet radio. Anyway, has anyone got one? How's the quality of the streaming over 3G? And which would you pick, Spotify or We7? Spotify seems to have a slightly bigger selection, but I've read complaints on the Inquirer that artists have complained about not seeing enough royalties for the amounts of plays they get on Spotify. Opinions?

I wouldn't stream it over 3G, that just seems daft. I have it on my Nokia N86 and I've stored all my content locally and update over wifi if I get the chance. yes this takes up space on the phone but far better than streaming.

But the streaming aspect is one of the major reasons for paying the £10/mth...

True, but I have a feeling someone with a smartphone looking to pay for a sub for something that is predominantly used for streaming would have a good data plan. Personally, I would say yes on both counts, though. Yes it's worth the £10 in the way MissChief uses it (essentially unlimited downloads of music and store locally) and yes to the streaming aspect. So long as your 3G is solid or you can hook up to a WiFi source it is worth it.

I forgot that you can store locally when you have a subscription, that'd be handy for some frequently-heard tracks, but I've got 8GB of storage on there, if I'm going to bother copying tracks onto the phone I might as well copy the MP3s I have on my PC!

And I'm on Giffgaff so I do get unlimited data, yes.
