as you can see, he has used the picture you are interested in as a reference, so he might be able to add the knee to his picture

Would have taken me ages to get something like that, any pointers?

My process:

Pen tool to draw in the shape of the missing knee.

Make selection from shape.

Use clone tool to copy areas from the part of the knee that existed into the new shape.

Deselect.

Paint over with a large soft brush to create effect of knee fading into shadows.



Could make it better but only spent approx 3 minutes on it.
