Who has the best chocolate brownie recipe?

Never made these before, so I've decided to make some this weekend to have as a dessert. I want them to be 'proper' brownies, soft, chewy and rich. Does anyone have a tried and tested recipe they can give me?

Or white chocolate brownies for a change?

170g white baking chocolate
190g plain flour
2g baking powder
2g salt
150g granulated sugar
2 eggs
30ml water
Almond extract
75g butter
Sliced almonds for topping (optional)

175c for 25-30 minutes

I haven't tried this yet, so I don't know how it'll turn out.

I ended up making the marbled ones, they were lovely but didn't last long! Very sickly too.

Brownies are meant to be sickly, which is why they work so well warmed up and served with vanilla ice cream.
