Who has XFire with problem/no problem drivers.

Right can people list if they have Xfire- which cards- and what drivers they are using/not using. Thanks.

5970 on 10.4's = no problems.

Tried 10.6 = BSOD.

Will not use any current drivers till they are sorted. :mad:

Had CF5770 on 10.4 = no problems.

Now have 5850 Toxic, still on 10.4

CF 5770 and using 10.4. Any driver after that on my cf 5770 are bobbins . Having said that ive not even tried 10.7 since 10.4 seem to fly in every game. So dont see the pioint in updating.

The Settlers 7 - Flashing trees with Crossfire
Starcraft 2 - Worse performance with crossfire enabled
Mafia 2 - Almost no performance boost with crossfire, I'm guessing theres no profile.
Shattered Horizon - Worse performance with crossfire enabled

10.6 gave me the bsod on reboot when i had cf5770, i used the 10.5 hotfix and profiles.

On a Sapphire HD OC 5970 (850/1150)

Mainly play on Bad Company 2, these are my experience with Crossfire.

10.3 = No Problems

10.4a= Grass Texture Bug. Fast Drivers tho'. Stable. No Crash's

10.5= Grass Texture Bug. Occasional Freezes, Ctd's.

10.6 = Loss of 25-30 FPS, Black Screens, Hard Lockups

10.7 = Same as above.

10.5s have worked out best for me BC2 loads quick runs good

10.7's stop characters disapearing in Starcraft 2(disabling Crossfire X works on 10.5's as a fix !

)

but break Napolean and BC2 for me BC2 bombs out after a few mins.. :rolleyes:

starcraft 2 does not support crossfire or sli according to blizzard , well not offically

I'd hope so considering how long it's been out for.

2x 5870 + eyefinity - worked fine on 10.7a but I've gone back to 10.5 for higher performance.

What is the idle temps like on 10.7? Heard they still idle high that's why I've stuck with an earlier driver. Others in this respect were problematic for me.

I have 5970 and a 5870 in tri fire and update to the latest drivers as they release and ive never had a problem with any set of drivers.

I dont mess with things i guess all i do is set AA and AF and never touch CCC again.
