I'm looking at a purchase from them and the much lower starting price and the 5% off for bank transfer is looking attractive, but should I be weary??

Anyone had experience, good or bad??

I'm looking to get a 70-200 2.8II, and maybe a 7D from them. Can't justify a 5D3 yet and my 450D is getting a little problematic for me (buffer too small, fps is non existant and ISO performance is dire at 400 and above so it limiting) so the 7D would help a little until I can afford a 5D3.
 
Well I decided to bite the bullet last night, and I filled out the form for ordering stuff with 5% discount (who wouldn't).

However, I've not heard anything back.... I'm would have thought that they were based in Asia so they would have responded over night, or do they pick up emails in the UK?
 
Email received and payment made - I'm hoping they process it and get it out to me today, then I stand a chance of getting it before the weekend :D
 
Well they quote 2-3 business days, and say they'll dispatch within 24 hours of the order so I think if you haven't ordered already you'd have no hope.

I paid earlier today and I've still not had the confirmation of them shipping - I'm not expecting it this week but it would be nice.
 
Well it's arrived and boy is it good!!!

Not really played much, but even at 200mm @ f2.8 it's still looking damn pretty sharp.
Gonna have a play and see if I can find it's sweet spots.
 
Lens wise the warranty is a 1 year collect and return. They collect the faulty lens and you get a brand new one in replacement. They say that they don't like sending out refurbs and repairs usually end up repeating the same fault later so don't like that either.

That might be normally but lens currently have the extra warranty free, and their faq states about the brand new replacement.
