There's nowt between them when it comes to ability, but I'd rather have Kewell on my team.

If we talk about last season then its prolly Kewell but pires just came back from a serious injury so its not fair to compare them like that.

If we look at our double season pires was superb, so id take pires over him

They ae equally good in my opinion, a fit Pires would probably edge it, lets face it who wouldn't want pires in their team? But if it we were to buy one of these players to fit into our football club then Kewell is the guy for Liverpool, also Kewell is 6 years younger and got plenty of time to improve, Pires will not improve he is 30 and knocking on a bit.

Pires, though he does play in a better side. Kewell has good potential for the coming years, Pires is what 30?

Kewell for me has never been consistently good like Pires has been. Pires is one of the few world class players in the prem, I don't think Kewell is there yet.

its tough because Kewell is in a pretty dire team at the momment, thats why i would say pires, but if Kewell was with Chelsea / Man Utd / Arsenal / Newcastle perhaps it would be different

i wouold take Kewell based on his age really, Kewell could still inprove a lot so i would love to see him at man utd

I would say skill wise Pires is out there by a fair distance ahead of Kewell & is the better player. But I would pick Kewell for my team as by 29/30 I see him being better than Pires is atm. Both very good players & there isn't the huge gulf between them that some have made out there is although as stated there is a gap, so overcoming French bias Pires would be my pick for the short term.

I just think that Pires has more in the locker and obviously gets my vote.

Kewell - cos he can perform all year round , think Pires picks his times when he wants to play well (even thou hes awesome)

I consider them pretty much on the same level, but I have taken into account future potential and seeing as Kewell is younger and in my opinion just as good as Pires at the moment, I have voted for Kewell. Only because he has a few years left in him to get to Pires' age in which he could improve furthermore.
