How does the Sun come by these stories? Genuine question, I’ve always wondered.

Are they made up, does the mum get in touch with the paper, is it then exaggerated, where do the trash stories come from?
 
We have a cost of living crisis and an ever increasing list of sleazy politician’s, so never a better time to bait people with these lazy, sorry excuse for journalism stories.

Was in a sports shop walking past the children's trainers. Why would any parent spend £45 on baby trainers which aren't for walking in??
 
Is it insane? Yes absolutely, however the fact it's being framed by the Sun as 'look how the benefits system is broken so this woman can lavish all this on her son!' is disgusting. Especially with this little nugget stuffed away lower in the article where the sweaty gammon will never see it:

It's probably total BS but I still don't like how they've got 'Organic food' alongside a £1k gold dummy as some sort of extreme example of excess.
