I have to add some registry entries called backconnectionhostnames for our MOSS farm. Basically we are having a double hop issue where users hit the form which then calls a webservice. As the web front ends are load balanced the request to the webservice from the IPForm is also load balanced and can hop to a different server which then loses authenticated credentials.
I have a web application set up using a host header i.e. portal.mydomain.com
I have added this to the registry entry for backconnectionhostnames but I think I am missing more.
Do I need to just add portal? Do I need to add the IP address of the local box?
