Who knows about CNC cutting?

Ok, so as many of you know, I really like the Shinobi XL, but then I realised that if I tried to mod cut the window myself, I would have an issue in colour matching the softouch finish on the case.

Anyway, as such, I'm seriously considering getting a window CNC cut, however am wondering if this would create the same issue of stuff needing cleaned up, or painted over, due to the obvious issue with colour matching.

Had plenty of bits cnc'd by a well known chilled watercooling shop. On black cases I just touch up the edge with a black marker. I'm sure paint would do also if you wanted to match any colour.

Yeah, was looking at getting it done there. By edge do you mean literally the thickness of the panel where the metal has been cut through? Or additional parts on the actual side itself?

Have you looked into water-jet cutting? Just another option. That might give you a very slight lip on one side, but all methods might do anyway (?) A small file or similar will get it off.

I used to work for a company that did it, seems a clean effective way to do it. As above, you'd have to touch up the edge where it has been cut. More tradition methods may be cheaper, I really don't know. Just thought it might be worth a look.

I did consider water-jet cutting. Both are available options to me at the moment. To be honest, I don't mind which I go for. It will just be down to price and quality.

Gangster, I would do, however frankly, I don't know any good companies nearby that would be able to get it done. It is a bit of a lack of reputation issue. I know some online companies that friends have had good experiences with, so I'd be happier to spend a couple of quid more and know it'll be well done.
