Who likes Granola and other 'healthy' cereals?

I bought this today, crunchy oats with tropical fruit, including banana, pineapple, coconut and sultanas. http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesc...unchy_oat_cereal_with_tropical_fruit_1kg.html

It came off the same shelf as the Granola cereals and looks the same so I presume it is Granola. I had some today and while the flavour and initial crunch is really nice, the crunch and flavour quickly disappear leaving a somewhat laborious chewfest of bland oats. I prefer those jordans or tesco strawberry or maple crunch breakfasts which look similar but go down more easily. I want to try and persevere with Granola as I assume it's healthier, though it's definitely not a fast breakfast to finish. I try to stay away from all the cereals that I really like (golden cinnamons, cocopops, chocolate filled this, chocolate coated that, etc) because nice as they taste, they're really just sugar swamped crap no healthier than eating a mars bar.

So now it's usually fruit and fibre, apricot wheats, weetabix, porridge and alpen. Hate those Dorset muesli cereals too. Tried it once after glowing reviews but the flakes are too big and again laborious. Alpen does the best muesli for me, just the right size flakes. Likewise porridge. The only one I like is Quakers, it also has the right size oats.

Blimey, good find. Oh well, if I get really fed up with this bag of granola, (and it's a big 1kg bag) I'll bin it without feeling guilty for throwing away what I thought was healthy. The problem is, I'm getting bored of the cereals I mentioned above and there's a bigger selection of the unhealthy cereals. How healthy are cheerios and their imitators? Because I like those.

Shredded wheat is something I like now and then, the large size ones. As far as I can tell, shredded wheat is the healthiest cereal.

'Shredded wheat consists entirely of whole wheat. Two biscuits (47 g.) contain 160 calories, 1 g. of fat and 6 g. of dietary fiber. '
