Who makes the best Baked Beans :)

Yesterday I made myself some beans on toast? or is it Toast and beans?
The beans were from aldi and I have to say they were rotten tbh, all hard like undercooked fresh peas
a 7th of the price of Heinz though, but they went straight in the bin after i'd soaked all the sauce up with the toast.

Who makes the best Mayo these days? I treated myself to some Hellmanns the other week but found it a bit watered down compared to the Aldi own brand.

Does anyone else tend to buy the supermarket fresh Microwave mashed potato these days instead of making their own?
How far does the laziness go though, Who else thinks sod it and buys the pre chopped onion and carrot when thinking about making mince and tatties?

Anyone else have fond memories of grannies dinners? Scotch broth and lamb? Lentil and Ribs? (ribs used to be a cheap option now a premium?)
A big plate of stew and tatties etc...There is a gap in the market tbh!

If i'm not in the mood to make a " big pot " of soup I tend to buy the fresh soups, tinned soup always has that tinny tang to it.
