i do i do.......

After watching a cool video about how the controller works in games im really excited. I watched this one game called red steel and there was a sword fight, and to actually swing your sword you had to physically do it your self genuis :D

Im also really looking forward to the downloading of snes and nes games like chrono trigger and super mario world.

All im waiting for now is an email to let me know that i can preorder it :)

Cant wait to get my hands on Zelda TP :D

im also looking to forward to Excite Truck, very strange because i normally loathe all racing games apart from Mario kart.

Don't think ive ever been as excited at waiting for a console as the Wii, the whole concept is genious! :)

amen, got my name down at GAME already, well excited about Wii Sports :D

tbh I don't think I can be bothered to swing a controller about like a sword. It might be fun to start with but after a few weeks...

Count me in, forget the PS3, the revolution has me drooling...cant wait for it to be released.

Surely it would be more longlasting fun than pressing a few buttons to do it?

I like the look of the Wii, if Red Steel plays how it's shown in that trailer it will be great. There's an amount of gimmickyness to it but there's plenty of potential.

Finances permitting (and I shall force them to) I'll be screaming 'wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii' in my manager's ear unless he lets me take a wii home the night before release day.

fini

It's not like you really have to dance around like a tool flailing your arms like in the videos, either. I'm sure you could quite easily play all the Wii games sitting down like you'd normally do and flicking your wrist about to move the controller.

I think I will get one mainly due to the price and the fact it will give me something different than my 360. I think the 360 and the PS3 will be a much of a muchness. The Wii should give me a different gaming experience.

I want one for multiple reasons:

Cheap
No need for HDTV
Cheap
Cool games(Red steel, COD3, Zelda, Super Smash Bro's, Metroid, Wii Sports will all be bought by me :D possibility of a MGS game also :D and "konami football game")
I've actually gone off super-graphics games as there seems to be little substance to them..

The possibility of having a two player lightsaber battle with the controllers   !!!

It's not the fact that it's unusual, more that I probably won't have the energy to do it sometimes. I play games to relax. If I wanted to sword fight for real i'd join a fencing club ;)

The main reason i'm not definitely buying a Wii is because it seems too zany and cartoony for my tastes. I'm not into Mario et al.

Having said that, if there are games I like then i'll buy it. PS3 seems more aligned to my tastes, with Eight Days and Assasin's creed, at this point.

Still having fun with the X360 mind.
