Who sang these lyrics...?

In our college email newsletter there's a quiz question on the end of each email, normally with a rubbish prize. This weeks is,

Who sang the lyrics "nobody listens to a word you say, you can keep on talking to your dying day"

After consulting Google I've found nothing, which either means they have either misquoted the lyrics or that the song doesn't exist. Anyone have any ideas what song it could be?
