Hello!

Following on from this thread HERE where a number of SSDs have been tested to see just how fast they are, OcUK and Samsung have decided to give away the test unit. An 250GB Samsung 840 EVO!

All I would like you to do is to throw together a couple of charts/graphs for the 3 tests used showing each drive and how fast it runs.

An example would to list the chart as ATTO. (seeing as one of the AS SSD tests was showing IOPs lol)

In this chart I would like each size in both read and write translating on to a chart for all to see so that all 4 drives (5 including rapid mode) can be shown side by side.

Try and give each drive a colour and a key to easily identify each drive.

The cleanest and easiest chart to read will be the winner. :)

Maybe I've got a bad day today, but I don't understand the rules.

Samsung have decided to give away the test unit
Test unit means they give drive FIRST and I test it as SECOND. But you require me to do some tests FIRST and if I'll be lucky - I might win SSD as SECOND ? What "test" means in such case ?

Please - don't tell me if someone has got ALREADY 4 SSDs might win 5th one :eek:
 
I think it means to use the figures in the tests in the referring thread to generate graphs and stuff to illustrate that the 840 EVO is the better drive.

Do that, win the test model.

You don't have to test anything. You just take the data from the OP and put it into a pretty graph. Prettiest graph wins (needs to be readable too ;))
 
Took me long enough to remember how to do them. I'll have another go once I've had a shower.
Can we just confirm what data we want in the graph?

Best I could do, I'm not good at graphics design so no creativity in me. Just made it plain and simple with the information that matters on it. Trying to come up with a way to make it easier to see the different sections, may change the colours too.

e; However if you did really want it, you could have the .PSD :p
