Be strong little one, Vega will be coming soon. If it sucks (doubtful) just sell your monitor and pay nvidia their g-sync tax and then buy a 1080Ti. Just think, you are already getting Titan XP performance for nearly half the price, big saving there mr leather jacket is so generously giving you :p

**** off!! I LOVE my LG 38UC99 ;) :p :D

Paid it already with my X34A......and my X34 :p

I'm thinking of sellling it all going Ryzen ...we will see :)

ahhhh fair enough always a bit harder to sell a 2nd hand monitor unless you know someone irl who wants it its never been something ive thought about getting rid of online due to the hassle and the amount you would lose on it.

Nope, Even though I don't own one this card is a real kick in the balls for Titan XP owners who have shelled out £1200 for pretty much the same card but with 1GB more memory.

Such business behavior I can't condone hence the 1080 will be my last Nvidia card.

Everyone mentioning Titan X owners, that card released 7 months ago and whoever wanted it got it straight away so has had some good use out of it, to the people that have recently bought it I feel sorry for them but more fool them knowing a Ti was around the corner.
Personally I HOPE £650 - £675 for the FE as I love the look of the card and if the reviews are good I'll be buying one in after June... or just might wait for Volta -_-

If you buy a titan, then this is to be expected - plus they have had the performance for 7 odd months already.

I honestly don't understand that way of thinking.

I reckon you should let the Titan owners decide for themselves if they're aggravated or not. I can tell you one thing though, I don't regret my 1080 purchase one bit and I am actually happy the prices are going a bit down. They should, looking at how long these cards have been out.

No point fighting it, as long as that RRP pricing comes to the UK I will pick one up xD

Looking at current GTX 1080 pricing though circa ~ £700, I am skeptical that the 1080 Ti will come in at RRP...

Don't feel sorry for the Titan X Pascal owners. I was mentioning that the Ti would come out for a lot less eventually in the Titan X thread.

They all naysayed and said NVIDIA have no need to release a 1080Ti because of no competition and even if they do it will be over £1000 lol.

You can't blame NVIDIA when everyone should know by now if you buy a Titan, the Ti will undercut it massively for similar performance.

Yeah. What makes me laugh about those people is, every time they completely forgot about history and feel somehow what they currently got is special or something? Lol. Common sense with a dash of history gives people a good sense of what is to come. Not saying it is the case 100% of the time, but it is most of the time.

thats just them wanting to buy :)
im surprised how many ive seen happy with the price
to me its not cheap but most seem happy

I'm torn on to buy or not. I got a 1070 as a stop-gap to wait for the 1080Ti, but honestly I'm pretty happy with it so not sure it it's worth the upgrade. OTOH, it's the final part of my original build plan and I've got the cash...
