Who will get relegated?

Martinez is just too nice, he needs a mean streak in him, he pretty much built the Swansea team and look how well they are doing, he was Wigan Legend as a player but as a Manager he has been hit and miss.

I mean at the start of the season just after staying up the season before with 2 wins in last two games, Wigan draw to Swansea Norwich (4 points dropped) and win against QPR then they went on a 8 game losing streak, so pretty much set the precedent for the season. Does not help losing top players like Valencia, Palacious and Nzogbia

It wasn't Martinez's fault his best players were sold from under him either.

No but he has bought utter crap with the money he had yet, he bought Scotland for £25k at Swansea and thought he could cut in in EPL 30 odd games 1 goal compared to his Swansea Championship form.

The clubs at the bottom remaining fixtures;

Villa
West Brom (A) Lose
Spurs (H) Lose
Norwich (A) Lose - 36pts

QPR
Chelsea (A) Lose
Stoke (H) Win
Man City (A) Lose - 37pts

Wigan
Newcastle (H) Draw
Blackburn (A) Draw
Wolves (H) Win - 39pts

Bolton
Sunderland (A) Draw
Spurs (H) Win
West Brom (H) Win
Stoke (A) Lose - 40pts

Blackburn
Spurs (A) Lose
Wigan (H) Draw
Chelsea (A) Lose - 32pts

Looks like Blackburn and Villa going down then if my predictions turn out to be correct (Wigan predictions were hard as I could easily see them winning all 3 of their final games)

Squeaky bum time at the top, CL quali and bottom.

Think Wigan could get a point against Newcastle and could draw or beat Blackburn, cant see Wolves being up for the fight so should get a win but you never know.

Villa got a tough run, QPR is really bad but they have beaten Arsenal and Spurs in the last few weeks, Bolton is not too bad they could stay up, Blackburn is mghty tough, thank, Blackburn could beat Chelsea last game, they will be resting players for the final on the Saturday

QPR can beat Chelsea, not sure if they will, look at Chelsea's squad in terms of tiredness and injury. QPR have a tough run though, however they might not need many more points at all.

Looking at Tom's list, Bolton getting wins at Spurs and West Brom.... incredibly unlikely ,Wigan drawing those two games, possibly but, doubtful.

What it could come down to ultimately is Chelsea and City, will Chelsea have a shot at 4th come the final game of the season, and will City still be in the title race, they could win or lose it before the final game. If both are still in their particular fight on the last day, QPR and Blackburn will have much tougher games than if those two teams are out of those fights.

Most likely to stay as is, Bolton and Blackburn just won't win enough games, sure they beat a rubbish Villa, all the other 4 games are against vastly better competition.

If any of those manage to escape, Villa are most likely to drop in to the bottom three, worst form, worst manager, worst football, competition that is all VERY capable of beating them.

Bolton are at home to Spurs and WBA, now I don't know what WBA's record is like at the Reebok but I know Spurs record is awful and Spurs are awful (at the moment). No reason whatsoever Bolton can't win those two games

The problem is Bolton are awful and while Spurs are awful they are doing better against the bottom sides, and conceded a heck of a lot less goals as well. West Brom have the 5th, yes you read that right, 5th best away form in the league and rubbish home form.

Bolton on the other hand both are better away from home this season, have the 19th worst home form, against top half teams which both Spurs and West brom would count as, they've scored 10 and conceded 45 goals.

Don't forget Spurs have rotten form, for a top side, they've still only lost 2 of the last 6 games, and that included draws away at Chelsea and Sunderland.

Sure Bolton could do it, anything is possible, but everything is basically stacking up against them. 4 more games to Villa away and life would be easy :p I just can't see it, I think they might get a result at Sunderland who have gone to absolute ****(Wigan have something like 12 in points in the last 6 games, Sunderland have 11, in their last 11 games ), I don't think they'll take a point at home, and Stoke, who the hell knows.

Villa are shocking but I just can't see all the teams below them picking up enough points to overhaul them. Shame though because everyone seems to want to stay up apart from Villa.

Yup, well, Mcleish doesn't, the players/fans probably do. Starting Heskey..... seriously? Honestly even that freak of a giant at Brum who is ruddy awful at actual football is more of a threat than Heskey. With Brum he had a solid defence that could get a draw (for a while) against just about anyone and nick the odd win, with Villa he's taken what has basically been an attacking team for a decade, and tried to force the wrong squad into being a negative **** defensive team that is just awful to watch.

I still do think Villa have a few great players and without Mcleish would do better than most/all those other sides but then, is that just because I've liked Villa and they've been genuine top 7 team for quite a while? How many top players do they really have these days, defensively they've got a couple on their day great CB's, midfield.... upfront, Gabby at his best can be good, at his worst looks really poor and hasn't really ever managed consistent goal scoring seasons and Heskey is just ruddy awful.

I'm not quite sure how they can be making as big a loss as they are, while seemingly having gotten rid of so many of their top players. Ridiculous wages for average players, and probably too high wages for their younger players at the moment. Even without O'neill its hard to see how they deteriorated so quickly.

I think people from the outside looking in on Villa don't and haven't seen the bigger picture. We have a very skeleton, poor squad - a lot of the lack of investment offered by Lerner is a result of MON's poor spending.

We have a vibrant youth section, but too many are being exposed at one time, when they should have been brought through gradually. Whilst some are simply not good enough.

At present, we have no Dunne, Collins is injured, Stan Petrov is ill, Bent is injured, Makoun on loan, Ireland doesn't want to be there and N'Zogbia has been a flop - all of which would get in the other struggling teams sides without any problem - real trouble ahead. Add to that we lost Friedal (although Given has been adequete), Downing and Young in the Summer, along with Carew who although was lumbering, did get double figures for us in the league.

McLeish has been a disaster - when the manager of Wigan turns you down, you know you're in trouble - and he was always going to be hated.

Heskey HAD to play last night - GA (who I really don't rate, and never have) was injured, so although Emile is unlikely to hit a cow's arse with an orchestra, he is experienced.

We lack an older, wiser player, such as Petrov, to put their foot on the ball and slow the play down.

Dark days ahead, it's not as bad as 87-88 when we went down, but not far away.

Bent's off in the Summer.

Tough times ahead.

Convinced we're going down now. 1 win in 13, no 1st team player can be bothered with the fight, a **** manager and everyone below us keeps picking up points. 1 more win will do it, but away at W.Brom and home to Spurs doesn't bode well. Could come down to the final day, but I pray it doesn't. Even if we stay up where the hell do we go from here?

I think we might get away with it - we have a good goal difference compared to the others - worth a point.

I think we'll get a point somewhere else!

From there, I have no idea where we go! before Man City and Spurs invested heavily, we were the club trying to break the top 4 -we've fallen so far.

Going to be a long road - hopefully we'll see AM sacked and perhaps someone young and passionate come in - perhaps Di Matteo if Chelsea don't retain him, but more likely Terry Connor!

In really really (really) want QPR to go down. Would love for Wigan and Bolton to both stay up, but I have a funny feeling QPR will sneak out with one of those two replacing them. Alternatively, Villa going down would be hilarious!
