Who would have a Optimus Maximus

Indeed, no feedback would, for me, mean no touch-typing which would pretty much render it useless for gaming. I bet it'd be terrible for RSI-sufferers as well since you'd just be ramming your fingers into a hard, unmoving surface all day.

If you want to use it as a general purpose input device, not as a main keyboard, then you might as well get a general purpose touchscreen and place it horizontally.

It looks impressive but as mentioned the lack of tactile response would make it wearing to type on very quickly plus there is always the 'will it ever reach production' factor that seems to dog Art Lebedev designs.

No feedback? What do you mean? The keys arent hard. the screens are fixed, but the keys are clear plastic covers over the top that slide up and down like normal keys.

If someone game me one, id have it!

EDIT: Ok, confusing post. The thread titles states Maximus, which is a different keyboard to the one posted, which is the Tactus.

I think you're quite mistaken. :p
