I need a reliable Windows host for some Classic ASP sites, preferably with Persits components ASPjpeg and ASPupload already installed.

Any recommendations?

I should add that I want it to be in the UK, and actually recommended through first-hand experience by an Overclockers member.

I'll be putting 60 websites on it, for paying customers, and to be honest, free hosting for three years and 65p set-up fee scares the hell out of me.

I'm looking for customer service and reliability ahead of price.

But I do thank you for your quick response Jakeee

Tsohost get's my vote; apart from the outage last week i haven't had issues for the few years i've been with them.

Yer same here. But being totally fair, that outage wasn't technically tsohost's fault and affected a lot of hosts too.

Still the thing I took from that issue (even though it was a HUGE pain the ass on the day) is the following:

  • Tsohost kept their hosting status page updated
  • Kept twitter updated and replied to any tweets
  • Kept their forum updated
  • They did apologise on their forum
I only be annoyed if nothing was said and we weren't kept updated.

Have used tsohost for a good 4 years and have had ~150 work websites on their clustered hosting for about 2 years now. When I get time I'm planning on moving another 80 sites I have hosted elsewhere to them.

Stand out thing for me, is their customer service. Have been working late at 2am in the morning and still got email replies. In the 4 years I've been with them I've personally never had to wait more than 10 minutes for an email reply.

When I look back a few years ago at some of the gibberish I emailed them asking for help with - and how accomodating they were - I salute them :)

Can't recommend them enough really.
