Guys,

Anyone use a wholehouse water filter system? If so any recommendations?

At the moment down the south west (Torquay) our water has normally been quite good as it comes from the Dartmoor etc, however in the past few months the taste is god awful!

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

I'm assuming that being south-west you won't need a water softener?

Any carbon filter will remove the bad taste, so it depends on whether you also want to remove phosphates etc as to which set of cartridges you'll need.

Screwfix do as good a range as any, a 10" carbon filter is a 10" carbon filter.
Flow rate is a consideration, the tap versions tend to be a bit of a dribble.

Why do you want whole house instead of drinking tap versions? The downside of this is that you will also be removing the chlorine, which is what keeps your water supply free from bacteria.
