Probably the most random request but I am looking for a business that could print custom made tape measures.

I am ringing around and it is tricky as I want to be 3m long. The feedback has been to try silkscreen/ribbon companies.

Any additional thoughts?

Edit: This would need to be on Kraft paper.

by measuring tape do you mean the flexible tailoring style tapes? or the metal construction style.

Most places will get a ready-made blank item and print directly on the casing... but I presume you want it on the tape itself.
That is likely to be quite expensive, as that will be done on a calibrated machine set to print the markings accurately, and any custom work involves changing that calibrated setup at the factory... so high volumes, or it's not going to be worth the expense... unless it's a gimmick and doesn't need to measure accurately, in which case any cheap manufacturer will do

You can get it done on measuring tapes easily enough, but not tape measures.

Yah but looking for something custom made.

I rang around and it seems that across printing/silkscreening(?) and other techniques, this is actually a tricky request!

Abstract thoughts welcome.

It has to be on paper, 2m long at least and 3 or 4 m wide.

Could you not order a 3m print with a LOT of white space and trim it?
