Whoops on a colleagues car.

Looked round my colleagues car and noticed the following:



What the other side looks like:



The groove between the worn part and the untouched part is 2-3mm deep :/

Looks at the brake discs, one is worn all the way to the edge, the other has an area that's untouched and so rusty. The height difference between the worn part and untouched part is 2-3mm.

Well your colleague is very lucky that you have noticed and posted on an internet forum for sure.

Lol, it was a mildly car related fact i posted on a motoring section on a tech forum.

I was more expecting people to share stories of things they had spotted or similar but instead it just turned into ****posting *shrug*

If they were into spirited driving then they probably wouldn’t look like that

He is young and wants to remap his car.... I might push towards some new pads/rotors/tyres first.
