Traffic was largely unaffected, but police urged motorists to find alternative routes after the accident, which occurred at about 0600 GMT on Friday.

OK, how do you find an alternative route to a cul-de-sac?

Geez. Was the guy drunk!

I'm waiting for something simiar to happen on our cul-de-sac with the bin lorry. Luckily our cars are safely on the drive but the only place to turn around normally has a few cars parked in it. As long as one of them is my neighbours car I don't mind, that bloke is getting on my wick :p

That's exactly what I thought. It doesn't look like a cul-de-sac to me from those pictures either.

I can't stand it when people park in turning points!
