Well yesterday I was looking at reinstalling XP onto my EEE pc as the irritating people at ASUS deemed it necessary to wipe the OS back to the crap version of linux that comes with it in order to replace the left click button ![Confused  ](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/confused.gif)
Anyhow, I have to do it by USB as it has no dvd drive, so went to format my USB stick, bla bla bla, click quick format, yep seems good, click OK.
Just after I clicked it I saw my external hard drive in the drop down menu
oh **** no I've just formatted my external, 300GB+ of all my movies, music, full TV series NOOOOOO!!!
My heart dropped, but luckily it seems it's all pretty much recoverable![Big Grin :D :D](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/biggrin.gif)
Was not a happy bunny!
