Hi folks.
Just put in my very first watercooled build. It's the XSPC Raystorm Photon X4 jobbie.
All went well, everything works and the temps are several degrees better than with my old (leaking) Raijintek AIO jobbie.

But I've just noticed I've plumbed the CPU block in the wrong way round... I don't want to drain and redo it unless I absolutely have to- so is this actually going to cause any problems, given that as it stands, the performance is excellent?

And yes, I'm a numpty. I'll say it before anyone else does...

The thing is that leaving it as it is you are sacrificing performance. The block will be acting just like a straight in and out block from the days when computer watercooling was in it's infancy but with the additional disadvantage of restriction from the jetplate which won't be doing anything. After spending £225 on this kit I would want it working to it's best capabilities so would want it set up correctly. Draining it down won't take long so do it right. Just use a jug to catch the coolant and refill it after doing the tubing the right way around.
