Who's buying COD DLC for PC???

The top selling game on Steam at the moment is the first wave of DLC for MW3.

Now I'm not overse to a game of COD, take it at face value as a dumb shooter and it can while a way an hour or two now and again.

But it seems that the vast majority of PC gamers spit bile when you mention COD and the knives really come out when COD DLC is even uttered in passing.

So who's buying it?

Portal 2 is a fiver and you can get very good FULL game in the form of Alan Wake for the same price as the COD map pack.

Yet the new DLC for MW3 is out selling both of these.

I just don't get it.
 
I think the amount of response indicates no one cold really give a **** about COD anymore, the sooner they drop it from PC the better off humanity will be.
 
Actually portal is outselling mw3 dlc and alan wake has already been out for like 5months or whatever it is, and i bought it because i enjoy playing cod and its the only good fps out.

If you actually play it rather than hunting for a space on the bandwagon, you'll find it can be a lot of fun, particularly with mates. ;)

I won't be getting the DLC at the moment, despite some of the maps looking good. As with the game, the release price take's the piddle. I'll wait until it's in a sale or drops to something a bit more respectable.
 
I think CoD is a great game. The only thing wrong with it is that it's been the same for the past 3-4 games and each new game they add all this stupid **** like akimbo and killstreaks. It's all just stupid now.
 
I agree, not a fan of akimbo and streaks but no need to bash on the game every chance you get, its really fun. I play it most days.
 
I'm not buying it, same game every time I pay for it, don't know why I bother. When the newer one comes out I will not buy it and I'll vow to that.

There's nothing WRONG with the new games per se, they're just the same as the old ones. CoD4 was brilliant, the later MW games just feel like map packs. They're still good games, they're just nothing new and it's almost offensive that IW keep pumping out the same game and charging full price.

Not at the time I posted.

Not many posts, so not much interest in COD full stop.

A lot of the posts so far are ****ging off COD.

So I'm still puzzled by how well it's selling.
 
I've never bought a CoD game because every game they release is about £20 too expensive, but it can be fun for a little shootabout if you're really bored and want to have a laugh with a friend for a few minutes.

Your logic is flawed. Just because something sells well doesn't mean it's any good, just means humans are stupid. I suppose you bought the Twilight books and went to see all of the movies at the cinema? :D
 
Well the same stupid people who bought mw3 will also get the dlc as they are still stupid. Simples really.
