Still determined to make my mark with Unity, have the whole thing setup and am trying out some free projects from the asset store. What are you working on, any tips or tricks, should I try Unreal Engine instead?
If you are after a course, I highly recommend "Learn to Code by Making Games - Complete C# Unity Developer" at Udemy. £10 (assuming new Udemy member) for 51 hours of lectures is pretty good value for money! I am already a C# coder at work and that course helped me get to grips with Unity itself.
Another useful resource is PushyPixels on Youtube. He did a series (Cooking with Unity) of tutorials which were also very interesting.
Sadly I got busy at work and home so now forgot most of what I learned so need a refresh!
Would invest more time into learning Unreal Engine 4 if its games you want to make. A more complex engine to learn but easily the more powerful and superior compared to Unity. Behind the HUD, Unity is a fairly poor engine.
For me it's more about learning c# and the number of courses out there for Unity than actually making a game, that's just the project to keep me going.
