Who's ditching C0 I7 for D0?

lo ill think ill try to burn out my C0 lol jk:D , so as ive got a good excuse to buy a new DO stepping, or if any guys on here want to make me an offer, for my 920 co , which can run at 4.00ghz, allbeit at 1.41v, PM me ;) but i got it running normally 3.4ghz @ 1.24v .

insane :P

I agree, I mean a CPU is worth by how much it overclocks? I would prefer to buy better cooling, then simply buy another stepping of my same CPU...

What if you already have top end air cooling tower heatsink...as virtually everyone does these days?

You can't get better without getting at least some watercooling setup which means throwing your £50 air cooling setup in the bin anyway.

I've gone from a C0 at 3.8Ghz to a D0 at 4.1Ghz....I'm happy. £65 well spent, with minimum hassle.

4Ghz...is a nice round number...what more can I say.

:eek::D

Its all psychological :p

exactly.

and frankly Im not from the UK, so its not easy for me to simply sell my current C0 and buy another D0 ;)

If some guy came over to me, and offered me 250 euros for my current CPU (new from Malta it costs ~325 euros), yes I would sell it, and buy the D0 stepping. But other than that I won't do it :p

And about the cooler thingy, not everyone can afford buying the best air cooler as soon as he builds his PC. I went for the AC7 since its cheap and good enough for know. Now when I have saved up enough money, I'll upgrade to some better cooling :)
