Who's getting a new GTS?

Logic does suggest that the sudden gtx price drop would indicate the GTS does indeed beat it with a mild overclock and this has been done to shift as many as possible before the masses cotton on.I think even Gt owners are in a good position here you can shift your gt for little loss at the moment i have to say i am very tempted but only if it is £240 or less.

Any point me getting 1 to replace a x1900XT 512mb?

I use my TV as a monitor and its only 1024x768 or whatever.

Depending on resolution but it barely beats the GTS non so let us say with better drivers you can take as given the gts beats the gtx across the board nevermind with a mild overclock no wonder the gtx price drop it means the GTS whoops it so lets drop the price before people know about it and shift as many as possible?

The GTX is beating the GTS by 15+ frames at times, hardly just barely beating it ;).

Also so you can clock the GTS? news just in, so can GTX users, to Ultra speeds normally which the GTS will have a hard time keeping up with an Ultra even when clocked by the looks of things.

The better drivers argument doesn't wash with me, all the cards use the same base model driver but have INF tweaks for each card. If the GT/GTS see improvements so will the GTX.

Yes but maybe the drivers used didn't run the GTS to it's full potential ?

Oh come on.

Oh..

Look how the GTS get's whipped with AA applied. Just as I always predicted..

Reviews tested with No AA are always fishy.

I dunno, if it clocks to 830 core like in the screenies I think it could give an ultra a good run.

From the benchmarks its obviouse the GTS takes a bigger hit with AA than the GTX in some titles.

I want conclusive benchmarks as ever probably right early stuff is always suspect.

Result of the low bandwidth of the card, it was always going to cripple it with AA.

Some of you guys need to do your homework, drivers will not improve a hardware flaw.

Asgard at least I'm bringing honest hard debate to the thread instead of wearing my rose tinted spectacles and massaging each others ego. :o

GTS/GT/GTX/GTSREV1. All use the same driver model, there will be no further driver improvements for just the GT/GTS. If there is, these improvements will scale to the better hardware respectively (GTX, Ultra)

Stop kidding yourselves.
