Who's getting a new GTS?

Yea the 8800GTX is a lot better with AA, but fact it the 8800GT is no 2900XT :), brilliant card cutting through a lot of games with 16xAA/8xAA and if not 4xAA with the exception of crysis.

The 8800GT is a good card and you know it :cool:

Yea thats why if the 8800GTS got a 1000% boost in everything so would the other cards :D.

Enjoy your 7900 GTO and wait and see what happens on monday.

We work for a living and don't rely on our parents to buy our cards.Like others.

I reserve judgement on early reviews and prefer to bench and test new hardware myself.

This includes overclocking.

Correct.

Easy if that "parent" dig was aimed at me you're wasting your time, I don't ask for a penny off my parents FYI I have worked on and off part time aswell as having a full time job for a year last year. Therefore use a supply of saved cash to fund my needs.

That also had no relevance to the thread so as per usual back to your trolling.

Also if your saying you've never asked for a penny off your parent's well, from what I've heard I don't believe that for one second.
 
Well it's all getting a bit personal here!

I won't be getting a GTS as I just bought a GTX for 240. Is it a fact that every 8800 uses the same driver model?
 
easy - going from a gtx to a 320mb gts to a 640mb gts to an 8800gt to a g92 gts.....how much have you saved to get roughly back where you started?

not a dig, just wondering:D

It's not hard is it?, you make one of these threads every time your about to buy one of the aforementioned cards to somehow make yourself seem supreme and have the usuals come in and massage your ego aswell as justifying the purchase with how much you have seemingly saved blah blah blah.
 
TBH what he spends and what he spends it on is upto him.Ive gained a lot of info from both of your posts over the years. Shame to see another thread go down the usual path in GFX Section.

What if it beats the gtx ? better off selling the gtx now before the glass mountain price plunge i would get in sharpish if it does as it will hold more value until the 9800 than the gtx
