Who's getting a new GTS?

Does the res i'll be palying at matter to what card i should go for? (Hz Vs mem)

I'm running at 1050 on a sammy 226b.

Seems like the people who pre ordered GTS's wont be happy from what I've heard, they've being cancelled.

Its all a ploy for the certain online retailer that accidently puit them all up at a very low price on preorder to early :p

They have faked all the benchmarks to get people to cancel their orders blates! :p

People will be paying more than they expect now though, some of the people who sold GT's for this will wish they did not now.

There is a reason why poeple sod there GTX for 300 and got a GT.

1. If I had access to the MM I would have snapped one up at £210.

2. Of course there is, but its still the quickest card around bar the ultra.

3. Selling for £300 constitutes good business, no arguments there.

4. Yes we've all worked it out, its not rocket science.

HI there

At resolutions of 1920x1200 and beyond, the GTX and Ultra remain pretty much untouchable. Also the same can be said when enabling AA/AF, the GTX handles it much better due to the extra bandwidth on tap.

Remember most GTX will hit Ultra speeds or there abouts. :)

Hi Gibbo, really thrown the cat amongst the pigeons with this one.

So what about 1050, would i be better of with a new GTS at that res, or will the GTX just perform even better at 1050?

Id imagine the GT,GTS and GTx and ultra would all perform pritty much the same. Although perhaps not in crysis, but nother seems to perform as expected in that game.

8800GTX would still have an advantage at 1600*1200/1680*1050 probably even without AA in most cases.
