Whos using Vista 64 and why ????

I tried the XP64 driver but it's unsigned so Vista64 rejects it. I can use DLinks 32bit Xp driver in Vista32 though if needs be.

Good suggestion though !

during the boot procses you press the f8 key/allow unsigned drivers to load, pain in the ass having to do that at every boot, if there is a registry hack ro something i would like to know
Grab Vista Boot Pro , its mainly usefull if your dual booting but it does have an option to permanently allow unsigned drivers on Vista x64.

Vista x64 is superb, i've tried a range of games and they've all worked fine (albeit with the odd anomaly that comes from immature drivers).

Only problem is with my DVD drive, but I believe that to be a BIOS issue, and not a Vista one.

I have vista64, I bought it from OCuk and the reason was that I didn't want to be behind in the future and regret getting the 32 bit version

PLEASE PLEASE can you tell me how u disabled the digital signed driver thing?

PLEASE :D

Removing the forced Driver Signing

1. Create a shortcut on the desktop to cmd.exe

2. Right-click on the shortcut and select Run as administrator

3. When the command window opens, type or paste the following and press ENTER:

Bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks ON

4. Reboot and then try installing the driver.

I've got vista 64 and I can't get the atitools bypassing the digital signing - and I've tried the nointegrity check cmd thingy - ran as administrator too.

:(

The only setting I've changed is to disable UAC and it lets me install any driver I want. ATI Tools works great. So does Daemon tools and so does my ~5 year old webcam and even older scanner, which hardly even worked with XP!

Installed Vista 64 about a week ago.

All seems well, Real Player works as does BBC news.

Didn't think I would like this OS but, I am finding it quite enjoyable atm.:)

I installed it a few weeks ago and what I have used seems fine, though itunes does say that it can't import from cd.

The main problem is my Line 6 Guitarport which isn't supported, as it sits between the pc and speakers I have to mess about switching wires if I want sound in vista.

Me...had some niggly issues at first...bt everything seems to be beter now. Not having much issues any more....and Crysis looks beter in 64 bit than 32:D

Not had any problems with Vista X64 at all.

If you are checking BBC News 24 on a regular basis, then there is a nice little sidebar gadget that will do constant streaming from the N42 site.

Mines running great :)

First time around I had no end of problems but that's because my system was overclocked and it seems Vista is far more sensitive to that than XP. If you OC, I'd recommend going to stock to install Vista and get everything running how you like and then see if you still have issues...
