I'm on the fence. Disappointed that most of the "performance boost" on offer is MFG related. Content to stay with my 4090 FE and skip a generation ; the 5090 FE is the only card I'd consider upgrading to.

the 5090 has to be about 25/30% faster than the 4090 with its additional RAM/GDDR7 and 500 more CUDA cores. I know a lot of it is AI (DLSS4 ands RT) but isnt that enough for the money, £2000+ ?

Ive got a 3080 and am going to try and get a 5080 FE.

Ive got an iphone 13 on a cheap £14 a month contract, I know people that spend over 1K on every new iPhone when it comes out and all they do is basic texts and calls.....they spend their money on phones....im spending mine on a Graphics card...thats how im justifying the cost to myself!

Still a maybe for me, but it's looking less likely due to the seemingly modest rasterisation improvements which make up 90% of my gaming. We'll see once HUB, GN etc. get their hands on them and pick them apart.

Same here. It is a maybe based on if I can get a 5070Ti for under £750.

Happy to keep my 4070Ti until that happens. Got so many games to play and all of them work perfectly fine with the 4070 Ti. Not even sure why I am bothering other than wanting a new shiny GPU :p

I can’t see me wanting to upgrade from the 4090, I’d probably lose too much in resale value to make it worthwhile getting a 5090 and my 1080ti lasted me so many years I’ll probably just stick with what I have for the long haul unless I build another rig.

I am umming and arring but that 5070ti/5080 sure looks tasty I can't justify a 5070 with 12GB and I can't be bothered to deal with an almost 600w card

I think the 5080 is going to be star of the show and if it performs similar to 4090 for £1000 is a good deal, 24GB would have been nice as 16GB is starting to be borderline. Getting more performance for less at this price point. I can't really hate on Nvidia too much about the pricing this time round, they have something in every price bracket. Its the 5090 that's the outlier this time round. Cant wait for the reviews.
