I want one, whether I get one is another matter

Definitely want to see some reviews first. Depending on price/performance I may even try pick up a 40 series thats a bit cheaper if possible. But already coming from a 3080 I dont know if the jump would be enough
 
I have a feeling that this time round a lot of people are going to be unhappy. Plenty of stock last time round this time 4xxx is starting to sell out and 5xxx wont be enough for demand at the 5080 or lower level. I think 5090's might sell out straight away but then be more in stock than the others due to price.

Yes and No are soooo close. Who is gonna win by release date ? :)

They are so confident, they are going to wait until we all buy Nvidia cards before they reveal them.

I've been hearing the same since 3000 launch lol, it's going to guaranteed be a paper launch and sell out in mins as usual
 
I have the 4070 I know for a fact the 5070 will be impossible to get at retail price anyway or anywhere near . I just haven't got the will or the want to battle my way for such a poor upgrade amount. Yeah if one becomes available and it's guaranteed then. I may grab it but not in no rush . Most games will run perfectly fine for years more with the 4070 /ti and those that always claim they're getting it to future proof go on. To upgrade it the very next year anyway lol

Isn't the 5070 only 12GB? So you'd swap one 12GB card for another?
 
Not sure if im lucky or unlucky when it comes to graphic cards.

Covid brought an Evga 2080ti off the bay pretty cheap around the 800 mark was not registered did a step to a 3090 for an extra 200.

Christmas gone fitting failed gave the 3090 a bath dead as a dodo.

Brought a 4080 for 675 to get me through Christmas.

Claimed the 3090 on house insurance got 1800 voucher.

Now to see what the prices are really like im in no rush so not worrying about stock but most likely its going to be a a 5090 and offload the 4080 to my son for half of what i paid and sell the 3060 12Gb I brought him to buy another 4tb m.2.
