whs 2011 drive removal question

Hi i need to remove a drive from the above, now i have removed it from the pool but the only way to physically remove it is to remove a caddy with 4 drives in it after removing another 2 drives, so question is if i remove these drives and then plug them back in will they all be okay if i happen to switch sata ports when reconnecting them back up,will the OS find them again ?

I suspect swapping the data drives between SATA ports would be OK. If you move the OS drive to a different port it's unlikely to boot after powering back up without going into the BIOS to set the boot drive.
I'd avoid the risk though and label the cables and drives so they can be connected back the same way. (I'd also make sure backups were up to date...)

Just to update kept the os drive in the same port and the rest were found after booting
