Im starting to think about ditching WHS2011 completely
i have two problems that i now cannot solve.
One client is now not properly being detected by the server.
Lights out "is not running" on the client
and the client in the 'computers and backup' settings keeps appearing and going again even though i am using the dashboard from the PC in question
this is a new install on new hardware but it was working initially
also i am having continued issues with backing up the server OS externally
problems seem to be growing and tbh the whole thing just seems to lack stability
are there any alternatives that will
1) store all my media accessible by all PCs on the network
2) that will only wake up when a PC is turned on (lights out on WHS)
3) that will backup my clients automatically
4) back itself up
