WHS autoexit 2008

Why will it not let me start my server remotely....

It's setup correctly as far as I can tell- the only thing that may be causing it is the fact the motherboard i'm using is very old (Msi K7n420pro... socket A!).

From what I understand it does support WOL but just plain doesn't work!

Does your router / switch support it? Im sure it needs to support Jumbo Frames. Or I could be wrong . . .

well I can shutdown / start up the client pc's so guessing it does!

I can shutdown the server remotely also I think- it's just turn on that doesn't work!

Im assuming the lights at the back of the server for the NIC are still on? If not, thats obviously your first port of call. Ive never really gotten WOL to work correctly at home myself.
