I am in the process of specing a new pc for my brother, Have a post running in the General hardware forum, but have had no replies about monitors so I'm going to ask here.
Mainly for gaming, Bf3 and skyrim.
Some photo/video editing.
General pc.

Going to be running either a
Asus GeForce GTX 560Ti DirectCU II TOP 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
or
PowerColor ATI Radeon HD 6950 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

I also need a monitor, cant go above £200 mark, would like it to be less if possible.
These are 3 I have short listed so far

BenQ G2222HDL 21.5" Widescreen LED Monitor - Black £119.99
Samsung S24A350H 24" Widescreen LED Monitor - Glossy Black £179.99
IIyama Prolite E2473HDS 24" Widescreen LED Monitor - Black £154.99

Any views or other suggestions please.
he is running an old 17" lcd so anything will be better.

Thx

Just my 2p worth. I have just got the BenQ 21.5" LCD monitor for £95 and its brilliant! Ive heard good things about the "IIyama" monitors too but I can't say from experience. Another thing, arn't the newer ATI Radeons out now? I have no idea about Radeon I just wanted to make you aware you may be able to get more for your money :) Save £50 on the monitor and spend it on the GPU or something (just a possibility)

If you want to be cheeky you could get 3x 21.5inch monitors and go AMD for eyefinity. If not get a 24 inch Dell or Samsung LED ofc.

Way above the budget .

I don't know much about the Iiyama ProLite E2409HDS 24", but the spec's look OK. I've seen the Samsung S24A350H for about £154 and the reviews I have read on the net have been good.
