Ok so i got all 3 consoles, and my PS3's in its box , MGS hasnt interested me since its first PS1 release, and everything else im interested in is available on the 360, usually cheaper and with more content (Downloads / better online).
And Now GT5 is delayed .. really making me feel stupid for paying PS3 launch day price =/

Oh noes, id just sell it quickly before people realise! & as youve got a 60Gb youll be able to make most of your money back! Youll also know never to buy a console again if you dont like most of the things related to it in the first place! So win win!

ps3 has free multiplayer xbox not u have to have xbox life wich is expensive . anyway xbox fails its still kicking but its old tech. :o

i dont understand why you would "hate" a games console, if you dont like it then just dont buy it or sell the one you own, I only have a 360 and i guess i could say i HATE it because if i fart while playing it then it eats my game cds alive!

some of the arguements on this forum are so hilarious to read, its just so pathetic why people "stand-up" for certain consoles, the 360 physically is a piece of **** but it has some nice games, never played a ps3 but id like to own one when they get cheaper.

I have no 'hate' towards any of the consoles, I've owned all three of the current gen and still have my PS3 and 360.

What gets on my nerves are the people that feel they need to defend their console of choice no matter what or they just cannot accept a different console may do something better.

I think fundamentally they target their audiences in different ways, meaning both consoles appeal to difference people for different reasons.

If we ignore 'exclusives' for a moment, then the 360 and PS3 can deliver quite different experiences, depending on you.

360 wise, for me..
I switch my console on, play a game, at random intervals, mates drop on, and I'll invite/be invited to chat with them, at some point I will either jump into a MP game they are in, or we'll agree to start a new MP game, and someone will 'invite' the rest of us in.. The key on the 360 is, I'm able to maximise my gaming time because I can be playing whatever I want, whenever, and still interact on all levels with my mates..

PS3 for me,
As can be seen from the 360 experience, I have to change my usage, I switch on, play a game, then start 'phoning' people, or keep periodically popping out of the game when I know people have just popped on. And coordinating a MP game for 6 or 8 people ranges from a pain in the ass to almost impossible.. Which ever way it's spun, I just can't be playing games as much of the time, and although in isolation most inconveniences are trivial, for me, they stack up to make it noticeable more awkward to use the PS3 then the 360.

It doesn't mean I hate the PS3, I just much prefer the 360 experience. I realise both have exclusives etc, and so never really comment on those, that's another personal preference issue as far as I am concerned.

Then if you look at where they are heading, you have the 360, building on it's 'intergrated' feature pack, allowing even more social interoperability whilst gaming..

Sony are persuing HOME, a much more socially rich environment, but still fundamentally lacking in it's integration with the XMB whilst gaming. Sony have 'promised' some enhancements to the XMB to address this, but it's still no where near the 360 level.

To me, I can see how different people are going to gel differently with each console, and also how they are quite opposed in their experiences, leading to a much more heated debate.

There are other aspects as well, the 360 hardware failures have tarnished the 360, despite being very reliable now, this stigma isn't going to go away.

I don't hate the PS3, I just laugh at it because of how much of an epic failure it is. Maybe it has sold well but that doesn't change the fact that it's overpriced, has barely any decent games, lost most of it's decent exclusives and has useless gimmicky features like PSP integration and sixaxis. Also the controller is horrible and the console itself looks like crap. And all the boasting from Sony pre-release about it having 1080p and so it's better than Xbox and now it only has a few actual proper 1080p games. Oh and all the boasting about it's 'supreme' power and fanboys going on about how it will have better graphics than the 360, when 99% of games look better on the 360. Epic failure. And all the delays like GT5 not coming until 2010. DOUBLE EPIC FAIL.

So basically... you hate PS3 then

This post is basically a cardboard cut-out of raging 360 owner hating the PS3 - congratulations you've fulfilled the stereotype which is exactly what this thread was talking about.
