I have a £20 Simplicity plan on O2 which includes BIS and an "unlimited" BlackBerry data plan. From what I've read, this means that any data retrieved via the BlackBerry infrastructure or O2's WAP APN are included.
However, any data retrieved via O2's MobileWeb APN is chargeable as that i primarily used for phones being used as modem's.
When I checked my online account today I notice a couple of entries for things accessing content via the MobileWeb APN; mobile.o2.co.uk
I noticed this a couple of day's ago and did note that my APN settings were empty so I thought to force anything not using BIS, I'd enter the WAP settings so they went via that instead. So I've now got the wap.o2.co.uk settings in my APN settings. On checking online again tonight, I have an entry for WAP which is being charged at zero rate, but I have another entry for O2's MobileWeb APN.
How do I figure out what's causing this? It's not much just now but I want to know what I'm using that's costing me money. The only apps I've got of note on my Storm are;
